As with anything else you would be wise to seek advice from the experts on anything that you do. Getting body building tips is no different. Get a few good books, visit some web sites and arm yourself with as much information as possible before starting any body building routines. Also you would be wise to talk with your doctor before starting any kind of body building routine or taking any kind of body building supplements. No one on the internet or in a book would give you solid medical advice. If they do you should look somewhere else for your body building tips and help!

With that being said here are a few body building tips for you.

Proportion is important.

Do not overlook any parts of the body. Do not skip exercises because you are in a hurry to get huge biceps. For instance, some people overlook the calf muscles because they are smaller. If you use a wider and narrower stances when lifting, you will hone those calf muscles.

Develop the deltoid muscles.

These are one of the most prominent muscle groups on the body. The delts are in your shoulder area and if developed will make you look fit and trim. One of the best exercises for them are lateral raises. Your normal instinct would be to lean a bit towards the rear. But if you want to get the full benefit, do them while leaning slightly forward. This will insure that you work this muscle group to the full extent.

Supplements.

As body building becomes more popular, so do the number of companies trying to make money from it. Seems like everyone has the newest and greatest supplement to make you look like Charles Atlas with hardly any effort. Don’t fall for it. If there was such a thing everyone would be taking it and have a perfect body. There is no magic pill or substitute for hard work. Make sure that you are eating right. You may want to consider some whey protein and maybe a good multi vitamin. Just as insurance to make sure that you are getting enough daily.

Team up with a friend.

It is always good to share with a friend. This will help you to keep focused on your goals. It could even make for a little friendly competition. You will probably push yourself a little harder if someone is watching.

Nutrition.

Nutrition is more important than just about anything. One of the best body building tips that we can give you is to stay focused on what you put into your body. Drink plenty of water and eat fresh, non-processed foods. Do not eat 3 big meals a day. Eat 5 or 6 smaller meals. Make sure that you get enough protein and carbohydrates. The carbs will provide you with energy and the protein will contribute to your body building power.

Keep an open mind.

Body builders are just like any other people. They are glad to share the information that they have learned. If you meet someone with a well proportioned body and a healthy glow, listen to their body building tips with an open mind. You may just learn something that will take you to the next level!

We have put together a collection of books that should cover just about any information that you need. Make sure to check it out at: Body Building Tips Collection.

If you are working on muscle building, you must have the correct diet. You can not just eat everything that you want under the assumption that you will “work it off”. You also can not eat “conveniently”. That means nothing out of a box.

For our muscle building diet we will be eating fresh and wholesome foods and veggies. Foods may look good on that processed foods plastic wrapper, but that does not mean that they are good. As a matter of fact nothing could be further from the truth.

Whole Foods.

Whole foods are good for helping you keep the body fat low. If you want six pack abs you will want to keep the body fat low. Whole foods are loaded with vitamins and minerals and can help with muscle recovery when working out hard. Eat a lot of whole foods. Here are some to help you get started.

Veggies. Especially broccoli, spinach, tomato, carrots and salad.

Fruits. Apples, bananas, pineapple, pears, and oranges.

Protein. Eggs, meat, poultry, milk, and fish.

Fats. Yes fats, but the right kind. Fish oil, olive oil, flax seeds, real butter, and nuts.

Protein.

You should aim for one gram of protein per pound of body weight each day. Protein has the highest termic effect and will help out a lot with building and maintaining muscle. Try to include protein in every meal. Here are some that you can include.

Poultry. Chicken, turkey, and even duck.

Eggs. Eat the whole egg. The yolk is loaded with vitamins.

Red meat. Steaks, ground round, and even deer and buffalo.

Dairy. Drink lots of milk. Also use yogurt, cottage cheese, and whey to get it into your body.

Fish. Fresh is good. Canned is bad. Try tuna, mackerel, salmon, and sardines.

Calorie rich foods.
Some good calories come from raw spinach, pasta, olive oil, oats and mixed nuts. Calorie rich foods are excellent for a muscle building diet.

Milk.

If you are looking to gain some weight drink plenty of whole milk.

Your muscle building diet is essential to the end result that you are after. The food will give you energy and help you to boost your metabolism. These are both very important in muscle building and muscle recovery.
