There are several reasons that people want to learn how to build muscles fast. And of course one of the first and most obvious is to be attractive to the opposite sex. But there are those who just want to be healthy and project a healthy image. Don’t be lead down the wrong path and study under someone who does not teach you to use the “natural” methods. Some who are in it just for competition might have a different way of looking at how to get there!

Obviously once you have made your mind up you will want to know how to build muscles fast, but as in anything, “good things come to those who wait”. Do it the right way, and the rewards will come. Try to go too fast and too soon and you could be heading for injuries, both physically and mentally. Try to take shortcuts and you may just find that the risks and pitfalls are not worth the rewards.

With that being said, let’s look at some ways that you can learn how to build muscle fast, the natural way.

Become stronger.
Sounds obvious but you need strength in order to get muscles. Strength training will get you there. You can use weights and your own body weight if you prefer.

All machines are not safe.
Free weights are better and more convenient. Machines can force you into fixed and unnatural positions which could actually cause injuries. Also free weights replicate natural movement and cause you to use your balance. This will help you build muscle fast.

Compound exercises.
Pay attention to this if you want to learn how to build muscle fast. Use exercises that hit several muscles at once. Make sure that you have a solid plan that includes these exercises. This will save you some time and make your progress faster.

Train your legs.
Big arms are nice, but make sure that you work everything in proportion. Squats are great for the legs. Make sure that your hips go down below your knees.

Let your muscles recover.
This is especially for beginners. Recovery is a big part of the muscle building process. Follow your solid plan. It should call for you to have changes in your routine as you progress. Do not try to get ahead of your schedule.

Get rest.
Rest is also a part of the muscle building process. Your muscles will actually grow as you rest. Instead of trying to rush the process concentrate instead on intensity and form.

Hydrate.
Drink a lot of water. Water helps with the muscle recovery process. Drink 2 cups of water with your meals and sip water as you workout.

Sleep.
Your body needs 8 hours per day. Growth hormones are released and working while you sleep. This is part of the process.

Nutrition.
Some say that you should eat like a horse, sleep like a baby, and you will grow like a weed. Just make sure that you are following your fresh food diet and getting the proper amounts of carbohydrates and proteins. No processed foods and eat lots of small meals instead of 3 large ones.

Sum it all up.
You want to learn how to build muscles fast? Follow a solid natural plan. Do not be fooled into thinking that there is a bottle full of magic that can transform your body. Follow these tips and concentrate on the right way of doing it. Concentrate on form and intensity. The rewards will come to those who do.

As with anything else you would be wise to seek advice from the experts on anything that you do. Getting body building tips is no different. Get a few good books, visit some web sites and arm yourself with as much information as possible before starting any body building routines. Also you would be wise to talk with your doctor before starting any kind of body building routine or taking any kind of body building supplements. No one on the internet or in a book would give you solid medical advice. If they do you should look somewhere else for your body building tips and help!

With that being said here are a few body building tips for you.

Proportion is important.

Do not overlook any parts of the body. Do not skip exercises because you are in a hurry to get huge biceps. For instance, some people overlook the calf muscles because they are smaller. If you use a wider and narrower stances when lifting, you will hone those calf muscles.

Develop the deltoid muscles.

These are one of the most prominent muscle groups on the body. The delts are in your shoulder area and if developed will make you look fit and trim. One of the best exercises for them are lateral raises. Your normal instinct would be to lean a bit towards the rear. But if you want to get the full benefit, do them while leaning slightly forward. This will insure that you work this muscle group to the full extent.

Supplements.

As body building becomes more popular, so do the number of companies trying to make money from it. Seems like everyone has the newest and greatest supplement to make you look like Charles Atlas with hardly any effort. Don’t fall for it. If there was such a thing everyone would be taking it and have a perfect body. There is no magic pill or substitute for hard work. Make sure that you are eating right. You may want to consider some whey protein and maybe a good multi vitamin. Just as insurance to make sure that you are getting enough daily.

Team up with a friend.

It is always good to share with a friend. This will help you to keep focused on your goals. It could even make for a little friendly competition. You will probably push yourself a little harder if someone is watching.

Nutrition.

Nutrition is more important than just about anything. One of the best body building tips that we can give you is to stay focused on what you put into your body. Drink plenty of water and eat fresh, non-processed foods. Do not eat 3 big meals a day. Eat 5 or 6 smaller meals. Make sure that you get enough protein and carbohydrates. The carbs will provide you with energy and the protein will contribute to your body building power.

Keep an open mind.

Body builders are just like any other people. They are glad to share the information that they have learned. If you meet someone with a well proportioned body and a healthy glow, listen to their body building tips with an open mind. You may just learn something that will take you to the next level!

We have put together a collection of books that should cover just about any information that you need. Make sure to check it out at: Body Building Tips Collection.

Everyone is pushing body building supplements. If you went to the pill store in your local mall they probably would have you spending $300 – $400 on pills, potions, and lotions. But do you really need all of those? Well there are a couple of things that you can do to supplement your body building, but there is no substitute for a good diet and a solid routine.

Your diet has to be rich in protein. Stay away from processed foods. Think “fresh”. Muscle growth will be helped by having adequate amounts of protein, carbs, and fat. These will speed up your metabolism and aid in fat loss. Find a good diet plan and a solid routine. Discipline yourself to follow both. And remember that all of the pills in the world will not replace these two essentials.

Now with that being said there are a couple of things that you may want to consider. And this may not even fall under the category of body building supplements, but rather essentials for everyone. A good multi vitamin. Now we do not recommend this as a substitute for a good diet, but rather a help in case you miss out on something. Keep thinking fresh as in fruits and vegetables and think of the vitamins as insurance in case you did not get enough. As a body builder these vitamins are important in the recovery of your muscles after working out.

Another one of the body building supplements that we would have you consider is protein. Remember that you need one gram of protein per pound of body weight. Whey protein is fast acting and convenient. You could use it right after your workout to aid in the recovery of your muscles. This is the time when your body needs the protein the most.

You will see many, many others. Don’t be fooled into thinking that these body building supplements will pack on the muscle. Remember that there is no substitute for a good diet, a solid routine, and the discipline to stick with your plan. Leave the flashy pills on the shelf for someone else!

Body fat and obesity are very common among people today. And it is no wonder in the world of convenience and fast food. This makes the road to build muscle and burn fat that much harder.

There are also many new and improved ways to lose fat. The problem is that many just plain do not work. And some have actually been proven to do more harm than good. The best way to lose the fat is the natural and safe way. This is also the way to keep it off for good.

It also takes discipline and time. Stop looking for the magic weight loss pill, because it simply does not exist. If there was such a thing everyone would be taking it and everyone would have a slim and trim body. Have you seen that happening?

Body fat is a lot more serious than people realize. Fat accumulates around the most critical organs of the body. It can cause many problems in these organs such as heart and coronary diseases, and even diabetes.

A program to build muscle and burn fat would include several essential natural steps to work. The first of course would be your diet and eating habits. Eat 5 – 6 smaller meals instead of 3 bigger ones. This speeds up your metabolism which in turn burns fat. These smaller meals should be around 300 – 500 calories. This provides nourishment for your body at a more spaced out rate. You will also be less likely to overeat because you know that the next meal is coming soon.

If you are trying to build muscle and burn fat you will also want to pay attention to the foods that you are eating. Research has proved that foods that have high components of protein and low components of carbohydrates, sugar as well as saturated fats are effective for fighting body fat. A diet of such foods like lean meats, vegetables and wholesome grains one must also avoid the kind of refined foods that have fine carbohydrates especially those with white sugar.

You will also want to drink plenty of water and other fluids, do strength training, and cardio workouts to get your heart rate up. The main focus will be on burning calories.

So to sum up the plan to build muscle and burn fat you will want to eat smaller meals, more frequently. Drink plenty of fluids and work off the calories with strength training and cardio workouts. You must have a solid plan and stick with the plan. There is no magic pill or shortcut. It is a hard road. But the rewards are definitely worth the effort. Have a body that will make everyone envious and be much healthier!

In your search for muscle building workouts for gaining muscle mass you will find that there are several different stages, depending on what type of body you have now. You may just have to lose some weight, or fat, before you start working on building mass. So the very first step is to prioritize. If you do not you may find yourself getting disappointed and turning the journey into a failure.

Muscle building workouts for gaining muscle mass are becoming more popular because women expect more from men. And as more men build their bodies, other men suffer from low self esteem if they do not have massive bodies. Oh, and of course this works the other way around as well. Men expect their women to have nicely developed bodies, which in turn causes other women to want the same!

And one of the oldest sayings associated with body building still holds true today. “No pain, no gain”. In other words don’t expect to wish for a body like Charles Atlas and just have it. Unless you are willing to be disciplined and follow a strict plan, it will not happen. Plain and simple. Don’t be like the many men and women who work out for a week and see no change, so they give up. There are no “silver platters” to get your body from in the body building world. And you will surely be disappointed if you think that there are.

Muscle building workouts for gaining muscle mass will ONLY work if you have the mindset. This is the first and most important step in the process. Building a body is no different than anything else in life that people want. You have to want it bad and have the willpower to see it through. Know this, set realistic goals, have a solid plan, and it will happen for you.

Once you have overcome the mindset, make short term goals. Instead of telling yourself that you will have 6 pack abs in 6 weeks, tell yourself that you will do 4 – 5 workouts every week. Know that progress will be slow. Know that things in life will get in your way. If you miss a day, get back on track. Life happens. Try to stick as close to your solid plan as you can. The body that you want will come. The only thing standing in the way is you. The only person that can make you fail is you. And of course you are also the only person who can make you achieve your goal! Be a winner.

In today’s world where health and fitness are the “in” thing, body building is no longer just for models and professionals. It is also not easy. Being healthy in itself is a small challenge, but actually “shaping” your body the way that you want it takes discipline.

Muscle building routines are quite a challenge and include actually turning fat into healthy muscle. It is not something that should be taken lightly, as you could do real harm to your body. Let’s take a look at a few things that most body building routines include.

A healthy diet.

Your diet must be very strict, include the right foods, and the right amount of food. You will want to eat 5 – 6 small meals instead of the typical 3 meals. This will help keep you from overeating.

A solid plan.

Solid muscle building routines are very strict. They must include strength training exercises that involve compound movements. These will incorporate more than one muscle group in each action. Obviously this will increase your progress, make you lose fat faster, tone up quicker, and gain strength more rapidly than you had imagined. We would not recommend that you try to come up with your own routine. It would be much better if you get a complete guide that has the muscle building routines all mapped out for you.

Final thoughts.

If you have a healthy body building diet and a good workout routine you will not fail. The reason that some people fail is that they have unrealistic goals. They think that if they want a body like Mr Universe, that it should just happen to them overnight just by wishing for it.

Muscle building routines will ONLY work if YOU have the discipline to stick with the plan. Make sure that you understand that there is a lot of hard work involved. Expect the progress to come at a steady pace, but not extremely fast. Set realistic goals, stick with your chosen plan, and you will be rewarded. Plain and simple!

Can you build muscle without weights in the comfort of your own home? Yes, but some people will still go to an expensive gym and train with weights. If you know the physics of using your body’s own force and weight, you can save a lot of time and money! And think of the convenience of doing it anytime and place that is the most convenient for you.

Here are some tips to get you started if you want to build muscle without weights and going to the gym.

The more that you lengthen your body, the harder it will be for you to move. It is very simple to apply this resistance technique. Raise your hands above your head or way out to your side when doing crunches, squats, or lunges.

The farther you move your body, the harder you make your muscles work and the stronger they will become. So for example, while doing pushups move your hands and feet farther from the floor by placing them on an elevated surface such as a step or book. Another example would be to rise and lower to the full extent, very slowly, while doing situps.

Pause between movements as you do exercises. This causes your muscles to work harder. A 4 second pause would not be too long.

Add rotation to your routine. By simply rotating the torso when doing a pushup, lunge, or crunch, you will work more muscles and work them harder.

When doing lunges, squats, and dead lifts try using only one foot. This will cause your body to work harder to stabilize, and you will get more benefit. This will cause your body to gain more strength than if you did the same exercise on two feet.

Two hours before you start your routine, eat a combination of carbohydrates and protein.

After the completion of your routine, drink your protein mixture and maybe some whey powder in a drink or skimmed milk.

Well, there you have it. Seven simple tips to help you buid muscle without weights. Sometimes things are just as simple as concentrating on the EXACT correct movements.
